This was with a 4790K @ 4.7Ghz and a Asus GTX 970 Strix (not overclocked, just on the gaming profile in GPU Tweak)

Well.... I finally got around to overclocking this beast

11181 with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970(1x) and Intel Core i7-4790K-FIRESTRIKE

Graphics Score 13143
Physics Score 12676
Combined Score 4869     This seems to be my limit for the time being, its stable and makes a significant difference in games that require a bit more power to run ultra/60fps.   Cheers, I attached links as well for all my scores firestrike, firestrike extreme, firestrike ultra, skydiver, Cloudgate and icestorm.

Here is mine, its a Palit GTX 970 Jetstream Edition running at Stock / Factory Overclock. CPU as it says, is an Intel 4790K but still running at its Stock 4.0Ghz. I'll overclock once I get some money saved up just in case something goes wrong while overclocking.

How are you guys getting such high scores? Are your cards overclocked?

EVGA 970 FTW(original, not +)

Probably could take it higher if I really didn't care about blowing it up. This is with my custom vbios modded to pull a max of 242w.  Didn't really want to pull more since its a poor VRM design with symmetrical power draw from all sources....242w is the max "safe" amount to pull for this card.

http://www.3dmark.com/fs/7252031 = 12005 firestrike, 14140 GPU

http://www.3dmark.com/fs/7251987 = 12010 firestrike, 14182 GPU

http://www.3dmark.com/fs/7251904 = 12043 firestrike, 14169 GPU

3Dmark takes into account the CPU, so everyone with an overclocked CPU would see higher numbers..

I think too many people are focusing on the overall score, where as there are people scoring low on the graphics score.

Someone beat this 390. Kappa.

The scaling on the 390 is absurd. 55 MHz makes 1,000 point difference in GPU score O.o

Yea I don't even know how that works, architecture design I guess? Imagine if GCN 1.0 and above cards could overclock really well like Kepler Refresh and Maxwell... Probably house fire lel.
