Run two audio devices at the same time?

Heyo guys.

 

So i dont have speakers and got a friend coming over.

i do have my DT880s and my G930 though. Can i somehow set it up so that both play audio?

 

Cause right now i can only set one to standard device.

 

 

Using Realtek ALC 889 audio on my Gigabyte UD4 Z68XP motherboard for the 880s but the 930s seem to run on their own stuff.

PS: I also need to adjust volume seperately cause they obviously need different levels to run the same.

Try virtual audio cable, you might be able to do that

AFAIK it's not possible without using extra applications on Windows, I wanted to do the same with my old desktop so I could run audio through headphones and my TV at the same time.

 

Your best bet is;

Try virtual audio cable, you might be able to do that

If that doesn't work for you, I'm not sure of any other methods of doing it, so you might have to make do with speakers or something if you have any.

I don't think VAC has a signed driver, so Windows won't load it and should pop up with an error message saying so.

 

You'll have to put Windows into test mode, which does put the build number watermark at the bottom right of your desktop (I had to do this for i8kfangui on my Latitude to get the driver to load since it isn't signed either.)

 

You can get it up from the Windows boot options (F8 at boot) if you want to do it temporarily, if you want to run it permanantly then you'll have to force Windows to boot into test mode automatically each time, google is your friend here but it's a pretty simple process..
