I need a microphone for around 50 dollars for thinks like skype and streaming. Audio quality isn't my number 1 priority but its definitely close. My top priority is that it dosnt make any annoying sounds like a ringing or static because thats the problem of my old one. I was thinking of getting the Blue snowball ICE but if there is something better i would like to know. (i have windows 7)

ModMic, so it doesn't pic up typing and all the things that a desktop mic can.

Yeah, Modmic is pretty good, but the Snowball is awesome too if you have a place to put it.

It might pick up some typing

snowballs pick up ambient sound very easily however quality is amazing

 

mod mic will do better at isolating your voice, but wont sound as good - more versatile maybe

im okay with my keyboard being picked up thats no problem i just dont want annoying sounds of static and an ear piercing noise my mic made for some reason

i have a mod mic and to me it sounds great. has no noise except for my keyboard and mouse if im going hard... lol

also the AT2020 is a good mic too not sure if its in budget :D or some of the samson ones :D

Thanks for the help but i guess ill stick to the snowball. My local tech store has and that relives the pain of waiting and not being able to skype :D
