My Pc stops working when i get i run games for a certain time.

 

Note: I have A gigabyte GTX 770 and an i7 3770k

Do you have a aftermarket cooler or stock cooler it could be your CPU overheating and do you have good airflow I'm assuming it's air cooled make sure you have good cabel management

The temp during gaming are pretty important.

I can't see Temps because when i just get into games. It freezes after the menu of course.

No the computer doesn't turn off and i can't alt tab out i have to keep pressing on the power button for it to turn off.

Run coretemp and post your temps, do you have a fan controller that can monitor temps?

Sounds like your PC is overheating.

Define stops working? does it turn off? can u alt tab out?

Have you considered watching the temps? The information you provided is absolutely less than helpful.

I'm at my school and they blocked Imjur on their wifi and I have no data can you just type the temps

I can only play BO2 single player but other games don't work at all or freeze the whole PC after a bit.

I took the computer to the repair shop several times and they say the computer is perfectly fine.

Also i have the latest nvidia driver.

do you have enough ram? Low ram can cause freezes

CPU Cooler?

GPU Cooler? (reference-aftermerket)- Temps?

How much RAM do you have?

Check your HDD/SSD for errors

Does it only happen when gaming or also when stress testing/heavy load?

Does it happen only in ONE game?

"like if you could buy two Xbox Ones, put them togheter and actually play games at 1080P! Ha! BURN"
