I haven't bought a single game that runs like crap (not including beta's and alpha's). This comes from my piss poor experience in BF4, I got the game on release, it literally crashed every 20 minutes. I wish ubisoft would take these titles that there shitting out as seriously as EA did for their BF4. I seriously doubt we will see another BF4 coming from EA, it cost them way too much money to release garbage. The community seems to be taking it easy on Ubisoft because their not EA. So if rockstar shits out GTA 5, I won't be getting it. Besides I already have it on ps3 and xbox 360, I haven't missed anything yet.

Bought it on ps3, finished it, liked it but couldn't enjoy it to the fullest at -20 fps and massive pop-in. I will certainly buy it on PC when prices drop.

Since I have no console I will surely get it for PC. But I will be waiting for the price to drop in the 25€ range. Plus then the patches will be in. There is no need for me to rush to games anymore (exception being Payday 2).

It's not really my type of game, the setting and things to do doesn't catch my interest.

If I were a fan, I would definitely get it regardless of it being delayed.

 

I don't see how people are assuming the worst of Rockstar, that they are treating the PC audience badly and delaying the game for no reason.

Just think about last year for a second, from a developer and publishers perspective. 2014 was a disastrous year in terms of game releases, buggy games, unstable connection service, poor optimization, etc. What comes to mind if I mention Assassins Creed: Unity? I'm positive that most people will think of the horrible state it was launched in. I certainly do, and though I'm not a fan of Assassin's Creed, it doesn't exactly help my impression of the franchise.

 

Getting GTA V to the best state they can manage to avoid the launch disasters is the only logical thing to do. I wouldn't pre-order, but a successful launch would definitely get thumbs up from me to Rockstar as a company.

Technically I've waited for GTA V for 5 years. I don't see a problem waiting a little more if it means a better version. And I'll wait to see if it's a well done port.

 

If it's a bad port I'll probably get it when it's 5€.

I have said so many times before I'm not worried about GTA V being bad or not. I just want it on PC.

Yes. It was amazing on console. I only played it a few times so basically this will be a whole new game to me. I don't really mind the wait, it doesn't effect me. If it was good on console, it would have to be good on pc. The specs are low so I'd assume it's fairly optimized. If not, it won't effect me. My specs are way way better than the recommended specs so it'll run smoothly for me regardless.

I got it for 360 when it first came out, I don't mind waiting for the PC release. I probably won't get it until it goes on sale anyways.

Because of 90% of the ports most usually only work smoothly on some obscure low/mid end setup, and those who's computers smash the top end specs have trouble running it on low at 720p.

Really? I've never heard of this happening. It makes no logical sense that a more powerful computer would run a game slower. I understand the lack of optimization and that it could do better but I have never heard of it running worse. Only example I could think of is SLI. And considering I'm running a single 970 at 1080p (which is overkill) I could never realistically see that falling behind lets say a game requiring a gtx 750 because the 750 would be more "optimized". However, I do see the point you are trying to make.

I'd rather wait. I actually pre-ordered the PS3 version and I don't think it was a waste. And the delay tells me that the game may very well be optimized. But anything can happen after it comes out.

Meh, it's a gta game. I spent nearly 200hrs on every other GTA, so I'll probs buy this one.
