On my router there is a option called WDS Bridging and there is a nice little description with a bit of a warning/note at the end.

 

Enable WDS Bridging - You can select this to enable WDS Bridging, with this function, the Router can bridge two or more Wlans. NOTE: If this checkbox is selected, you had better make sure the following settings are correct.

Would buy actually, now having looked at it.

But GameStream wouldn't be great on it...

Over the wireless i can get my entire 55mbps internet connection and theres still some bandwidth to spare so assuming you don't have a crazy heavy wireless need in your home I'm sure it would be fine. i have a 300 megabit link speed from my router to my PC and if i remember correct the bandwidth is about half the link speed.

 

I did try steam in home streaming and it was pretty flawless.
