When I was your age, I didn't even have a computer. Maybe you should go outside more. They also want you to make smart and sound decisions. Should you spend money on getting a new GPU just so you can play a couple games? Or should you just use it for something else down the line?

If their knowledge of computers is limited lie that with a graphics card you could code which would look great on a resume. Parents love to hear about something that could make their child successful in life!

yea because that's not an awful idea, if the OP's parents won't let them buy a GPU now and they find out that they like to convince them to let them get it they they are likely to take the PC away entirely or worse.

If rebellious enough, go to the store (preferably with your grandmother) and purchase it yourself.

That is of course...you actually have that kind of money. Oh wow -- am I really giving a 13 year old advice against his parents wishes? Don't listen to me.

Lol , there is no way I could get it without my parents knowing it , my father don't want to let me open the computer . My father know how to change it.

Buy it! Tell them that it's something important to you, and it's something that will last you a few years.

No idea ?

Ask your dad what he wanted as a kid, that his parents never let him have.

Tell him this is how you feel.

Hmm... Tell them that your computer is your 'car,' and this is going to help you get the most out of it. Sometimes, comparing it to something that seems more reasonable to spend money on is a good idea. Of course to us it makes sense to upgrade, but understand your parents most likely see it was you wanting to spend more time playing 'violent video games.'

they should be happy you aren't spending the money on drugs instead.

Maybe make a deal where they can either

1) Limit the time you play games

2) Decide whether or not you can play a game before you buy it

It sucks, but it's a good compromise, as then they feel like they have more power, and you get what you want as well. Are you <15? If so, convincing your parents of anything is difficult, even if they know little on the subject. Trust me, I had parents that were almost afraid of video games, and now they accept them and can see the artistic value and storytelling that they have, even if they personally don't play them (I don't play CoD, so I'm a different story). Change takes time.

13 and not much

Welcome to the world of childhood.

Just deal with it. If they won't let you get it, and you're not willing to just go get it, and do it yourself, you pretty much just gotta wait and deal with it.
