Yeah so i am building my new system and have in my house my Corsair graphite 760T black, 7 hero mother board, 4790k, ax860 power supply and a bunch of corsair fans for cooling. I nee d to buy SSDs, ram, and video cards. That would have been easy except for the whole Monday think. The alternator on my van went and how my build is on hold *cries*

I can reuse my crap ram from you dead system and an old 600gb HDD to get the system running. Anyone hear how well the Intel HD 4600 integrated is? If i even CAN afford a new GPU right now it would be about 100 bucks MAX. is it worth it for the 3 or 4 months to spent the 100 or just stick with Intel graphics? I am in a smaller town so second had cards are not an option for me.

Any reply would be great and thanks all

It's good enough to play games on. 4790k with 100$ graphics is stupid.

Can you try League of legends on it, if you have that game.

And I like you for liking deadmau5 :P

I can try League, but I know it will run fine. Turn off shaders and you will be averaging somewhere around 70FPS. at 1080P maxed out.

woah woah WOAH. lol everyone is ok with intel hd now. I say just get like a 7870 used for about 100 (Cant use ebay?) and it will preform extremely well at 1080p; several times better than the intel hd which is just not fun to use at all.

just my opinion,

Adnan

The HD graphics is on par with legacy GPUs, why a 7870 with a i7? it is a 270X. Id rather he get a 970 instead

I have been running intel4000 for awhile now and I play BF3 at 1080 on low-med settings and I get 40-50fps. If you have no other option they work until you get options.

if i were you i would find a lower resolution that scales well with your monitor, lower settings as low as they can go and if possible lower render distance/depth of field and other settings.

it will be ;livable; till you can afford a more balanced GPU for that beast of a proceccor.
