Ultimate Value build guide?

I was looking for a gaming pc around 600 to 700 euro's, and when linus posted his ultimate build guild I was really excited and I liked the results the system got.
But when I read the comment section I saw a lot of negative feedback about the decision's linus made without giving other options.

Do you guys have any suggestions for a gaming pc with a 750 dollar price tag? (lower than 750 is fine, above not really)

Thanks.

These days mostly less PCIE slots and smaller. You don't need full atx for anything orther than crossfire/sli. For value builds matx is perfect.

You probably can't find the ssd and mobo.

you can substitute ssd for m500 or adata sp600

and mobo for asrock h81m-hds

psu might be hard to find too...

People have different preferences and uses for there PC, therefore different parts are needed for different things. And even then some people have different goals when building a PC like: Upgradability, "futureproofing", raw performance, editing, youtube, gaming and so on. Linus' machine focused on the ability to upgrade in the future also focused on parts that don't necessarily give the best raw performance, but parts that allowed the use of higher end parts in the future
