Im gonna build a small computer that i can use as a console. (With xbox360 controllers)

I picked prosessor and gpu but the rest of the parts is hard to choose.

•CPU: AMD FM2 Athlon X4 750k Black Edition FM2, Quad Core, 3.4Ghz

•GPU: GIGABYTE R7 260X 2GB

Some help?

I think i want 8gb of ram and 2tb harddrive storage. Also a bluray reader and writer.

And i want to try putting all this in a very small case, playstation size.

Any recomendations?

Case: You have to go for the Silverstone Raven RVZ01 (something like that)

As for the Storage / ram, just get 8GB (you won't need much more) and a 1 or 2TB HDD.

Bitfenix pandora is pretty small, also Lian-Li has a pretty small console-like case to I think, however my recommendation would be the Corsair 240 (I'm a Corsair fanboy). As for RAM a kingston 1600mhz kit is fine, ram doesnt really effect performance. And a WD Blue is usually my main recommendation for hdds. And I bet theres an external bluray reader/writer that would suit your needs

But i want a quad core. And i dont want it expensive either

I agree to an extent, but if overclocking isn't your thing, then go with a 760k. Also, motherboards for the G3258 are more expensive.

CPU a bit overkill IMO

this

and either way with such a small system like the op is wanting, you wouldnt really want much oc'ing in order to keep temps low.

Well, I'm guessing you're gonna make it mini-ITX (so that way you can have console form factor). For a case, I found this one and it looks pretty nice, but the case is really your choice: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sharkoon-CA-I-Mini-ITX-Case/dp/B00MLU62YU/ref=sr_1_125?ie=UTF8&qid=1420283775&sr=8-125&keywords=mini-itx £48.72

I found this motherboard for you, it's cheap,mini-ITX,FM2, has PCIE, currently on offer and reviews are good http://www.amazon.co.uk/MSI-A88XI-AC-Mini-ITX-Motherboard-USB3-0/dp/B00IXWVYE8/ref=sr_1_1?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1420284874&sr=1-1&keywords=FM2£65.64

For RAM you can use some HyperX RAM which is very reputable (Linus uses these in almost all of his builds) and they're currently on offerhttp://www.amazon.co.uk/HyperX-Series-1866MHz-Memory-Module/dp/B00J8E91H2/ref=sr_1_11?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1420285755&sr=1-11&keywords=8GB+HyperX £56.98

For storage you can go with a 1TB Hard Drive from WD: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Western-Digital-WD1002FBYS-internal-SATA-300/dp/B002CPV2WG/ref=sr_1_73?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1420285980&sr=1-73&keywords=2TB£40.00
And then get an SSD for a boot drive: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Samsung-MZ-7TE500BW-500GB-840EVO-SATA6/dp/B00JABE74K/ref=sr_1_3?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1420286145&sr=1-3&keywords=SSD You can put two of these in there to total 2TB if you want with the case I recommended (as it has 1 3.5 Inch bay, and 2 2.5 Inch bays), but it will be considerably more expensive £196.50

Total: (with one SSD to total 1.5TB) £407.84 or 4,753.014 NOK or $625.117
Total: (with two SSDs to total 2TB) £604.34 or 7,043.047 NOK or $926.302

The PSU is up to you though
