I agree to an extent, but if overclocking isn't your thing, then go with a 760k. Also, motherboards for the G3258 are more expensive.

But i want a quad core. And i dont want it expensive either

Use the 860K

And the Gigabyte GA-H81M-D2V can overclock it. at ~£35

Dont use the 750K, use the G3258

id say get the 760k it has 4 core he can take advantage of maybe streaming or photo editing and some games wont run on duel core processors even if it has the specs to run it

Im gonna build a small computer that i can use as a console. (With xbox360 controllers)

I picked prosessor and gpu but the rest of the parts is hard to choose.

•CPU: AMD FM2 Athlon X4 750k Black Edition FM2, Quad Core, 3.4Ghz

•GPU: GIGABYTE R7 260X 2GB

Please don't make multiple threads for the same build--I've merged them.

Also, use BBCode instead of Markup when using pcpartpicker.

If you ever need help with a build, read the following before posting: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/3061-build-plan-thread-recommendations-please-read-before-posting/
Also, make sure to quote a post or tag a member when replying or else they won't get a notification that you replied to them.
