Uses: Coding, compiling, gaming, VM work.

Why I do not have AMD cards: I do not like AMD. I currently am using AMD crossfires and would like to go back to a single card NVIDIA. I know, price and performance, etc etc, goes to AMD cards. I get it.

I will be moving into a new apartment by the time I get the rig so I need help getting this machine (Replace parts as needed) to fit into a smaller and preferable silent case. Absolute silence is not needed, just for my roomates sake.

Any and all help is welcome.

Aye, how small did you want to go? mATX, m-ITX?

If it's m-ITX I suggest the new SG13 from Silverstone. Looks like it'll be a very nice case indeed.

There's also the S3 from Caselabs.

Do you already have the parts listed, or are you altering your build?

Tedster  Yes that was one I had in mind actually.

dizmo Small is small. As long as I can keep performance above average. Altering the build before I buy and move. Trying to keep the same budget of around $2100 I had in mind, above or below by a little bit is no harm done.

Small is small, the room and desk I will be using is tight on space, but not cramped if that makes sense.

No, I am alerting the build before I buy and move.

Trying to keep at my $2000 range, but if smaller is cheaper with the same performance then sweet. If not then around $150 over budget is ok.

All right.

A few more questions.

Did you want a taller, or fatter case? Is it living on the desk or the floor? Think 250D vs EVGA Hadron.

Do you need or want WiFi?

You shouldn't really have to spend much over, if anywhere near $2000.

Will be living below the desk (I have a small platform to keep it off the carpet)

Do not need Wifi

Aye.

Also check out the FT03 and FT03 Mini. They're by and far my favorite small cases, but might be a little restricting for you, especially the Mini.
