Counter Strike is such a nice CPU test, wonder why it never gets used... I get perfect scaling to 4 cores.

How does that game scale beyond 4 cores?

the fx 8350 has 15% higher single core speed than the x4 980 and the fx 4320 at stock.

 

the 980 seriously only has 30% of the instruction extensions the 8350 has.

 

yeah far cry 4 doesnt use more than 4 cores, but its ubisoft and ubisoft is garbage for pc games anyways.

 

if you're trying to prove something..dont use a unoptimized piece of donkey turd game such as ANY ubisoft game

I will put it into this perspective. A Core 2 Duo E8500, which is 4 years older than the FX 8350, has its cores running 11% faster at the same clock speed. And I got these results by simple comparing the amount of operations per second each CPU was able to do with a single thread (MOPS).
