Awful CS:GO Server Lag!

Recently I have been playing CS:GO and every comp we join everyone's ping will just randomly shoot up to 200-400. Makes it not fun and hurts your rank. This is happening almost every game. It isn't just me on the server it is everyone! GABEN FIX THIS!

Recently I have been playing CS:GO and every comp we join everyone's ping will just randomly shoot up to 200-400. Makes it not fun and hurts your rank. This is happening almost every game. It isn't just me on the server it is everyone! GABEN FIX THIS!

I am sure Gaben will see this post and get right on that.

Not recently, but I did see this a couple of weeks ago, a couple of times. Everyone would suddenly get a 300-400 ping sometimes even 700-800 and the game would become a studdery mess. Everyone on the server noticed it, it was weird.

Most likely your connection, are you using Ethernet or wifi?

How does his connection to the server cause everyone to have ping issues?

There have been a lot of DDoS attack on CS servers because of the betting system in place.

I was thinking that it might be DDos but wan't sure.

The servers just suck. The best thing you can do is block every server that you don't want to connect to.

Failing that just use a service like Faceit.
