Honestly I would love to put it into a new computer because my iMac's Core 2 Duo is struggling to even compile a java program. I would love to game and work with it.

If I got this processor, I'd keep it under lock & key until I could get the rest of the parts for a full rig  :D

If I won this processor I would buy a new motherboard to use it to help get my own youtube channel going I currently don't have anything powerful enough to edit videos so what's the point in making them

Hey Linus,

My i5 4670k isn't cutting it anymore. I need the power of this CPU for program compiling, shader compiling and to create games through games engines. I also do physics calculations which seriously is taxing on my CPU. Whenever I do these tasks my i5 literally comes to a grinding halt and maxes itself out at 100% and programs are slow and unresponsive. I am thinking of doing an upgrade to my computer and this would be the perfect thing.

I could really use it for some hardcore number crunching.  Something about a Phenom II just doesn't cut it anymore.

Hi i would build a high end gaming and video editing and the 5820k will be the first pice in the machine. And i will also be overclocking the living hell out of it :D
