We all love our internet. The ISPs dont.

the ISPs hate the internet because it cuts into their primary business, cable. Now, intel, IBM, and Qualcomm have all come out in support of the removal of net neutrality. These companies shouldn't have this opinion, it's at best counter intuitive, at worst evil. It's up to us to tell them: We wont accept them taking bribes to vote one way or another.

I am calling an LTT wide IBM-intel-Qualcomm Boycott.

Set aside your fanboyism, and help us protect what we love.

I think it was Qualcomm.

Gonna be kind of hard to not buy any Intel computer or Qualcomm-based phone.  And it will be equally hard to buy less from IBM than you buy now unless you are someone important in a big enterprise setting who buys servers from them or something  ;)

I'll stick with my Lenovo Thinkpad with an Intel Celeron M, thank you very much.

Do explain how this thread falls under the "Graphics Cards" subforum.

Crap. I swear I clicked on CPUs...

I instantly thought AMD Fanboy @ Title ... IDK why...

Just remember: Random people on the internet ALWAYS know more than professionals, when someone's lying, AND can predict the future.

Boycott the leaders of Mobile, who have patents for literally every mobile product that has cellular reception or their SoC's, boycott the leader of many server-grade chipset manufacturers and the other leader of consumer grade and server-grade chips

pretty logical, they're so easy to avoid.

Intel has too big a hold on the industry to simply "stop buying" their products. What else are people going to use? 6300s? Not likely. I already have an Intel CPU anyways, so I don't need to buy a CPU for a while.

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)

I cant speak for @StarFire on this, but I judge people/companies based on actions.

and These 3 are committing an action, being speaking out against net neutrality.

I'm not saying you cant have an intel rig.

but here's the caveat.

No money goes to intel.

if you want an intel CPU, buy it used.

Net neutrality prevents monopolies.

Monopolies cost jobs and freedom.
