Far Cry 3, I don't think this game was a failure I just simply hated it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

 

For as interesting as Far Cry 3/4 look (2 was bad IMHO), I still liked the themes of the franchise more when it was a Crytek franchise, back in the days of Far Cry/Far Cry: Instincts

I didn't mind Carbon, or Most Wanted, but I still feel U2 has been the best NFS game to date.

Have to agree on that one. It's especially awesome one you start modding it (new cars, higher textures, 1080p etc)

I'm doing one playthrough no mods, re-live the nostalgia, then I'll do another playthrough with all the mods I can get my hands on. More replay value that way

i don't know what you consider flopped because the game was far from a flop, it was fun and i got my 60$ worth of it even though it was for just a month, the main problem was lack of content, only having 10/15 primaries gets boring fast, even though all played very different, and its not like you can't play it, last time i checked there was around 2000 players on the east coast server

 

also what's wrong with making mods about it? if people liked it, it think that's ok

 

as for a game i think that failed, for new ones, the crew, really looking forward to that one, but the AI is shit, its more of an annoyance, and for a MMO, you can't do shit with other people other that PvP which is disappointing, even though with the big ass world it has races seems to be very similar, wouldn't be surprised if they shut down the servers by the end of next year, i consider that a flop

Well, that's what i mean. Most people put 60 bucks in, and got a month or so out of it. Then haven't touched it since. It's usually available for like 10 or 20 bucks on origin because they want to sell as much as possible.

 

And as for the mods, what i meant was people thought this would be the next cod, but it it did was die after a month or so.

Everyone shells out for it and it died in 30 days. It was a flop in the long run, but at least they got their money in the beginning.

I don't think I'm getting it... did I leave something out? Yeah, people play the Battlefield games on the PC, but quite frankly on the rare occasion that I feel like playing those games, I play them on consoles. Reason 1: I HATE Origin. Reason 2: Battlefield players suck on consoles for the most part, so it's a breeze playing it and doing well.

What did you dislike about it? I thought it was pretty good. It was a different approach compared to FC 2, but it was not a bad game. FC 3 Blood Dragon was also probably my favorite title in the series (I've only played 4, but still). Dont know why, but there is something I love about retro future shooters

Really? it felt just like FC2 with a lot less direction as to what to do.

I remember being SUPER excited when I recieved my beta invite, but was turned away by how the game was put together. There was something about it. Its ok though, I still get my health Skyrim dose of 5 hours a day.

Do people still play ESO? What is it like now?

It's not a perfect game, the devs are making bad decisions on some things that could be worked better in my opinion, but overall it's a fun game that deserves more positive credit.

I think people are being overly critical because everyone is looking for the "WoW killer" game and it causes them to have this skewed expectation of a new MMO.

The PvE is amazing and more interactive than WoW is by far. Most of the complaints people have with bugs and repetitiveness are being fixed with every update.

Cyrodiil PvP is similar to Guild Wars 2's World versus World PvP, but ESO does it 1000x better imo.

you mean oblivion clone right (was more like oblivion even used the same buggy ass engine)

 

I personally really liked new vegas but disliked fallout 3, but then Obsidian  had most of the original fallout team on it.
