Nzxt s340 or corsair air 540?

So I was debating on which case I should get between the two and impulse bought both of them when they went on sale... S340 for $55 and air 540 for $90-($20 MIR). Which one should I keep.. I like both of them fuck :(

Fuck. I would be destroyed if I were in your shoes. The S340 looks so clean, and the Air 540 offers so much. But I would edge towards the S340 since cube cases don't appeal as much to me IMO, but both are good cases.

I think this comes down to do you want water cooling? If yes, then get the s340, if no, then get the air 540.

The Air 540 is better for water cooling...

 

360MM/280MM/240MM in the front, 280MM/240MM in the top, 140MM in the rear vs 280MM/240MM in the front, 120MM in the top, 120MM in the rear.

As an owner of the A540, I will tell you it's solid. A dream to build in, solid build quality and good cooling support. I am sure the S340 is good as well, just telling you my thoughts on the A540. And it's really good for WC in the future.

Air 540. Have one myself and it is a simple to build in and has remarkable cable management as well as air flow. Also the side window gives a very nice view of components.

yeah I think he must have meant backwards. I have corsair h100i though so both cases are fine.

The amount of rads or how large the rads are dont determine the optimization for water cooling in a case. You dont need as much air flow in a water cooled system, and the design of the air 540 is superb for air cooling, in fact you can get incredible cooling without any rads ultimately making the entirety of the PC much cheaper. I would rather buy a 540 if I had no rads because I could achieve more than adequate temps without having to buy more components, kinda seems like the whole point of the 540 in the first place, but, If i had a rad, I would buy the s340 because its cheaper and doesnt need as much airflow. My comment was based on budget, sorry if that was unclear  :D

Air 540 is more functional but the S340 is a killer value right now. I'd personally go for the S340 as cube cases aren't really my thing but both are great. The quality will likely be slightly better on the Air 540 BTW.
