Its not a risk, it is 100% fake.

It will work, but it will be far worse performance than a real 680.

 

Someone on the forum a long time ago wanted to spend $30 or something to buy one of these fake GPUs to compare to a real one, idk if he ever did buy it.

 

The point is that it is not a 680 and it is NOT worth $100.

I can get a no brand gtx 680 for $100, but not sure if it is worth it.

No. Those are fake GPUs from china.

They are not a 680, they say they are "equivalent" to a 680.

Nvidia does not sell their chips to manufacturers like this.

They're fake, don't fall for it.

 

A lot of these exist under different card types. They rewrite the BIOS on the card to make them show up differently. It's likely some shit old card like a 9600 GT.

Dude that is a fake. Some sites take old GPUs like GT640's and make a BIOs for them that will make it show up as a 680.. Plus, what kind of 680 has a VGA port on it with the ports having a gold color to them?

Yeah, but my thought was I'd just return it if it was fake as tmart supposedly returns items within 30 days. But I guess they aren't as legit as I thought.

I wouldn't buy that, it looks fake. It clearly has a solid aluminium heatsink, which would throttle terribly even on a GTX 660.

Just remember the number one rule: if looks too good to be true it probably is.

"PSU brands are meaningless, look up the OEM."
