System Interrupts and svchost taking up CPU and Memory

Yayap7

Higher latency values are to be expected when playing video games.

To be fair, gaming or any other task that takes up CPU cycles or GPU usage will induce high latency.

You should be looking at whether the latency exists upon boot, reboot, sleep, and wake from hibernation.

Yeah true, that makes sense.

Well it seems like it's solved but unless I get a 50ft Ethernet cable I'll have to get a better wireless card with more effecient drivers I suppose..

I'm still getting high latency but no audio problems and regular game performance.

Taking the card out and disabling it seems to have helped the System Interrupts problem of taking up all of Core 1 in my CPU after sleep. As far as I can tell, nothing irregular has happened with boot, reboot, and sleep/wake cycle.

Thanks a bunch for helping me figure this out!

Now I just gotta think of how to get internet on my PC again..

You might be able to buy a wireless bridge?

Alright thanks for all your help!

I'll look into a wireless bridge.

Hopefully the ethernet port on my motherboard will be fine and not cause issues..

I'll message you again if things go awry.
