First PC Build - Not Working

I don't know if it makes a difference have you tried all the different video outputs on your gpu and motherboard , I know on my old video card the bottom dvi output stopped working at one point .have you tried them all yet?

FYI the motherboard ram and gpu are used parts

try moving the ram to the yellow dual channels

Maybe try removing the gpu and both sticks of ram hook your monitor to your motherboard and see if it will post to the bios screen.

it doesnt even show the Asus splash screen when booting

I have to go to bed now my tablets about to die and I have to wake up at 430 am. I hope you can figure this out and it is not faulty hardware .that would really suck for you first build. Good luck

EDIT: dont have any hdmi cables or anything compatible with hdmi within reach to test hdmi on both slots
