Snickerzz

Of course it looks like two PS2s put together.   PS2+PS2=PS4    simple math.

Like the ps2 slim problem overheating and noisey?

I still have my PS2 running strong and silent, but sadly don't have any adapters for it to run with an HDMI input nor can find any adapters for it :(

I personally like the design of the Xbox One. I mean, that's the ONLY thing I like about it, but still.

Well, I also prefer the skewed analog sticks, but that's not specifically Xbox One.

why do people care so much what these things look like, its going to sit in your entertainment center. its not meant for you to look at, its not meant to be a show piece.

Here's a better quality pic

BMcVkQcCIAEHZEm-610x434.jpg

Looks slightly better than the one, possibly smaller too, at least it's a DVR not a VCR player... also it seems it will come with it's own version of Kinect...

so far as they've said the light bar is just to track controller movement so it can sense which controller is player one and player two and adjust split screen accordingly. so if player one is on the left their screen will be on the left side, if they move t the right their screen will switch sides.

It is if you're interested in letting it breath some fresh air. From the pictures I might end up picking up a PS4 just for when the mates come around.

Can't wait for the xbox fanboys to start saying PS4 sucks you couldn't afford an xbox, and we're running 1500+ Rigs :p

Well it will generate allot of heat look at the xbox one, its got a massive fan in there for cooling, both of them are going to put out quite allot of heat.

I can 100% agree with you on that, if I had to chose between the 2,Xbox one VS PS4, I would chose PS4 all the way :)

i'm with you on this.

plus the fact that I can bring it anywhere without worrying about not having an internet connection.

sad to say, we're in this part of the world where net connection is expensive. converted to $, I pay around $50 for a 2Mbps connection.

Small issue is that you need a HDTV (or monitor I guess) to play, it won't work on SDTV's.

I think it looks great! I saw a size comparison chart on reddit a couple days ago, and it looks like the ps4 is narrower than the xbox, but deeper. So my only concern would be if it would fit on certain home theatre shelves or something without hanging over the front or having no cable room in the back. I'd rather have a wider console than a longer one. Hopefully we'll see some dimensions soon!

Me too, the PS4 looks like half the depth of the Xbone.

The fan looks pretty big on the Xbone which is making it that big, so what is the PS4 going to do in regards to getting rid of all the heat? there has got to be a fan in there somewhere and the PS4 is small in comparison, so they can't put a big fan like the Xbone has.....so a small noisy fan?
