I have an i5-12600k not overclocked, and an ASUS z690-a Prime motherboard. I just started learning Blender and while when m gaming my CPU is generally around 30-55c, (45-60 lately with the weather.) When I rendered an image from a Blender scene it hit 80c. Granted it is hot as Hell here right now (it hit 90f outside today, no central and we don't use our wall units much because of the cost.) so my motherboards ambient is currently 40c. Are these temps hott enough to damage my components?

Yup those temps are fine. Well under the limits of the processors at 100c. The system will also slow down/stop before the temps are high enough to cause damage.

Definitely good to hear. I tried researching a bit but got some conflicting answers on how hot was too hot 🔥
