yea it is only becasue games are lightly threaded if they were heavily intel i7's would be best along with amd 8000-9000

The best board on AM3+ is the Crosshair Formula Z. That's if you want to spend that much. I use one... (ed, it's R&B too)

 

But yeah, if you can source a Killer in your country then go for it.

It does, but it's nothing like a physical core. It also doesn't really do anything much for gaming, as gaming still refuses to see more cores.

 

It's only worth having if you are rendering/encoding etc. Too many people buy I7s for gaming.
