Good laptop in the 800-1000 dollar range

I'm looking for a good laptop for gaming in the 800-1000 dollar range and was hoping someone could give me some recommendations.

The one I have my eye on right now is the Lenovo y50

Just go for the y50 there aren't a lot of good options out there great laptop!

I don't think there is any better bang for the buck laptop in your price range than the Y50. I like mine a lot, and would definitely recommend getting it.
