GTX 970 8GB version?

Anyone know when Nvidia will announce it? I was hoping to get the MSI twin Frozr GTX 970 which would go well with my MSI z87 G43 Gaming MB, but, I heard that they will announce the 8GB versions of these cards soon enough. It is not about the framebuffer I am worried, but the manner of which texture memory are getting eaten up and already peaking the 4GB limit. Any potential pricing for 8gb versions?

Nvidia probably won't, some other company will. I think that's how it usually goes.

The way the texture memory is peaking, for example mordor with ultra textures was eating 3.8GB of VRAM, I need more headroom for the next few years. I heard the GTX 970 and 980 will get 8GB versions this november or december.

The 8gb 970 only makes sense if you get 2 or 3 of them, a single one doesn't have the power to use all that memory.

If you want a 970/980 buy it now because there are no 8GB versions coming at all.

Do you have a link? As I have heard from plenty of sources including Linus that GTX 970/980 8GB version is coming end of November or December.
