It's not true I have the game and it doesn't look like that at all.

In fact it looks even better than the Xbox screenshots.

Eh they were digging then too. Amd users got fucked by that game. 1024x768 or 1080p, min to high 0 fps difference for me until I modified the game a bit. I think the patches came along and fixed that, but come on.

But, yeah, nothing compared to this game.

muh specs

Gaming and HTPC (reparations)- ASUS 1080, MSI X99A SLI Plus, 5820k- 4.5GHz @ 1.25v, asetek based 360mm AIO, RM 1000x, 16GB memory, 750D with front USB 2.0 replaced with 3.0  ports, 2 250GB 850 EVOs in Raid 0 (why not, only has games on it), some hard drives

Screens- Acer preditor XB241H (1080p, 144Hz Gsync), LG 1080p ultrawide, (all mounted) directly wired to TV in other room

Stuff- k70 with reds, steel series rival, g13, full desk covering mouse mat

All parts black

Workstation(desk)- 3770k, 970 reference, 16GB of some crucial memory, a motherboard of some kind I don't remember, Micomsoft SC-512N1-L/DVI, CM Storm Trooper (It's got a handle, can you handle that?), 240mm Asetek based AIO, Crucial M550 256GB (upgrade soon), some hard drives, disc drives, and hot swap bays

Screens- 3  ASUS VN248H-P IPS 1080p screens mounted on a stand, some old tv on the wall above it.

Stuff- Epicgear defiant (solderless swappable switches), g600, moutned mic and other stuff.

Laptop docking area- 2 1440p korean monitors mounted, one AHVA matte, one samsung PLS gloss (very annoying, yes). Trashy Razer blackwidow chroma...I mean like the J key doesn't click anymore. I got a model M i use on it to, but its time for a new keyboard. Some edgy Utechsmart mouse similar to g600. Hooked to laptop dock for both of my dell precision laptops. (not only docking area)

Shelf- i7-2600 non-k (has vt-d), 380t, some ASUS sandy itx board, intel quad nic. Currently hosts shared files, setting up as pfsense box in VM. Also acts as spare gaming PC with a 580 or whatever someone brings. Hooked into laptop dock area via usb switch

This is pure electronic racism. We need to throw democracy on games.

PC Master Race isn't an actual race.

Anyone who does not have a sister hates the fact that Kasugano Sora isn't his sister.
I'm not insulting anyone; I'm just being condescending. There is a difference, you see...

Are you saying Nvidia "Games Works" which supposedly exists to give us optimization, but instead gives us horrible ports, inefficient ways to render things and cripples their competition is not to blame at all?

Did you see Nvidia complain once about Watch Dogs? How about Unity? Nope. They will happily sell morons two GTX 980's to run a game at 1080p (LOL) at 4x MSAA (lol even more). Answer is simple. Stop buying any Games Works games, because this crap ain't changing and it isn't new or isolated to Ubisoft.

FINALLY someone who gets this

Lol what a load of bullshit, if anything i'll at least give Ubi credit for the cutscenes, the textures are extremely sharp and detailed. They obviously aren't using the right settings.

I removed the video due to the fact i know the PCMASTERRACE community is going to cause a storm. Therefore, would rather not deal with the headache.  B)

i don't consider myself a part of the "pcMasterrace" group.

But i kinda understand some of them, as long as they don't exaggerate,

which they often do. They have to cause havoc exactly because things like this happen.

And that should not be a thing, the community just isn't a priority. I consider it a defense mechanism of sorts.

I just looked at that article. Something isn't right with those numbers. TechPowerUp doesn't agree with those values at all.

MSI Lightning 290X review

Palit GTX 970 JetStream review

Between the two reviews I linked, the 770 consistently gets trumped by the 290X with similar values at the same resolution.(any difference is because of driver optimizations).

I got past that part of the game but I don't recall it looking like that at all. I'm pretty sure I would of noticed and got pissed off if the textures looked that bad.

Here are some of my own screenshots, completely maxed with TXAA, HBAO+ and PCSS @[member=1080p]: [spoiler='Pics']OuHeFJr.pngBh2vZn5.pngfVFXdhy.pngm4FRtc9.png

It looks really good IMHO and I am impressed. With everything maxed on a single GTX 980 SC I am getting 35-55fps and honestly it feels very smooth and fluid.

I don't know about anybody else but this looks fantastic to  me.  This to me blows the xboxone version away.  Can't wait to get a 980, unfortunately it won't be anytime soon.  I only have a 670SC 4GB which I'm sure it won't be able to run this game at everything maxed out.   Oh well!!!

damn!! those graphics are insane!!!!!!

what is PCSS?

I think the 670 will run it just fine with FXAA, no Ambient Occlusion and low shadows.

PCSS is a soft shadows technology from NVIDIA, looks real good IMO.

This is insanity! Thank god I don't know anyone that's buying Unity for any system, I would have to talk them out of buying it.

The game is good, but not good enough to justify the horrible performance everywhere.

I mean just look at the LOD and draw distance...Past 10-15 meters everything looks like shit, beyond that the buildings are like basic geometry with blurry textures.

NPCs have insanely horrible draw distances, you can see them materialize 15 meters in front of you and they can switch from low-medium-high poly models right in front of you. Also the physics on the clothing also pops in like crazy, it's only activated like 5-10 meters away from you...it looks horrible.

I'd be able to handle mediocre framerate if only the game didn't stutters so much, every 3 seconds my CPU/GPU usage drops 10% causing a skip of 5 frames or so....
