Oh Corsair..

So Corsair's RMA sent me back a new AX760 and H105 (pictured below) after my H100i died on me. But get this, for such a small item they sent it not in a Delivery Van, but in a 12 wheeler Lorry. Which was completely empty apart from my box with the 760 & 105.

 

While I love Corsair I live in a small cul-de-sac so that thing would've had a wonderful time doing a 22-point turn if it wasn't for me seeing it and stopping it on the side of the road before it turned into where I live. I don't think corsair really thought this through but hey whatever.

Anyone else have stories of very elaborate shipping needs for a very small package?

or am I missing something, and that is weird about the truck, maybe it was its last stop?

They upgraded the H100i to a H105 for free, the AX760 is their replacement of some 725w CoolerMaster EX2 non-modular non-80+ PSU.

 

 

What happened was the H100i leaked and damaged the PSU (fan faced up) and Mobo/CPU. They gave me $500 for my i5-4670k + Z87-G45 and replaced my PSU/Cooler.

He did technically. Corsair replaced the CM PSU with their own.

Didn't pay a dime for it. Bought like a $70 725w non-modular, non-80+ PSU and corsair gave me a AX760 in exchange for it

Did he have a typo? I realized the incorrect "there" that he used, but assumed he meant "their." OP, did you mean "the" instead?

That's a good point. I know when I was a pizza delivery driver, if I delivered without my sign on, the number of orders would remain somewhat low. but if I put that sign on they would almost double.
