I have seen youtubers like jayztwocents review the r9 280 graphics card (This is the card i have) and in battlefield he got 80 fps on high settings and i only get 40 max. i dont have any clue for why i am hitting such low frames.

my specs:

FX-6300 6-core processor

R9 280 Graphics card 

8 GB corsair vengeance RAM

 Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3 Motherboard

50fps is sweet spot mayne. Do some ocing

For me, 10 is low. 20 is still playable.

Your AMD CPU is bottlenecking your graphics card.

For me, 10 is low. 20 is still playable.

I guess it's subjective, depends on what you're used to. I would honestly consider 20 still playable as well, 10 would be too choppy. :)

Upgrading to a 4690k would give you about 10% better performance depending on the game.

If you play on medium high settings and get over 60fps then its fine for you, but for people who like to play at ultra or 1440p actually care about that 10% loss of fps.
