So I recently got an Asus X99-Deluxe motherboard which had a defective ram slot, so I have had to RMA it with newegg. After googling around I havent been able to find anything really that is recent. So, has anyone RMA'd a motherboard with newegg recently? If so, how long did it take (after it arrived)to have it processed and a new one sent out?

I am just trying to get an idea as to how long the process generally takes. I know they say 2-5 days, but I have seen reports that range from 1 day to 1.5 weeks.

Had the ram not been so expensive I would have been more OK with living with 24gb of ram rather than 32. But each stick of my DDR4 ram is worth like $129.

You don't RMA the board through Newegg. You do it through Asus.

Asus told me to RMA through Newegg.

Likely because it was within 30 days. It's better that way because you get a new product rather than a refurb.

I sent my 670s back to newegg and they got me a new one relatively quickly. If I sent it on monday, it would get to newegg tuesday or wednesday, and a new card would be in my hands by friday.

Contact NewEgg again, if they don't reply within 7 days, threaten to sue them under consumer law.

What? I am just looking for user experiences to get an accurate real-world estimate. I just shipped it out yesterday, I think it is a bit early for that.

Hi col_crunch,

RMA processing can take 3-5 business days from the time we receive the defective item back. We hope this helps, if you have further questions please contact us at wecare@Newegg_Support.com and we'll be happy to help out any way we can.

I'm fairly certain this is a troll post. I've never ever heard of "newegg_support.com" with the underscore. Of course, I could be mistaken!
