I need to win this card lol.. I'm building a rig this December that is half workstation (music and video editing) and half gaming and I am having the toughest time deciding between one of these or the Sapphire Radeon r9 290 Tri-x Vapour-x 4GB OC. I need a quite but powerful card because I will be recording music in the same room as the computer.

i like the new technologie of the 900 series.

the only thing i was hoping is that they would perform much better than the 700.

i hope the TI version will make up for this .

The 970 and 980 are very good cards; hope the price goes down a bit more though. It's hard to afford on a college student budget.

These do look like awesome cards. I have a GTX 660 so not sure if its getting close to upgrade time or if I should wait another year or so, though these are very tempting.

The Zotac 980's are crying for liquid cooling! Best thing about 970/980 is their performance without costing stupid amounts of money lol.

Both cards look amazing. The fact that they're almost 3 slot cards because of the backplates might be a turn-off to some but I love the look.
