What CPU? K or not k? Is this build sufficient?

Hello! I am building a system to start of my Youtube channel! Most of the parts I already have are from a previous build, but I am also buying a few new parts.

These are the parts I already have from my previous build:
Case: Cooler Master N200 
Cooler: Hyper 212 PLUS
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 8gb)
SSD: Crucial M500 120 GB
DVD/CD ROM: Philips Lite-On DH-16AASH DVD/CD

The parts I plan on buying are:
CPU: ??? (point of this thread really)
Mobo: MSI B85 GAMING 
GPU: MSI GTX 970 GAMING 4G
PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA 750 G2 

The tasks my PC will be doing are:
Recording Gameplay with programs like Dxtory and OBS
Editing, Making, and Rending videos with programs like Sony Vegas Pro 12, Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, and Cinema 4D.
A lot of heavy multitasking as well. 

So I am wondering. What CPU should I be buying? I won't be buying until Black Friday to save some money. The Motherboard, GPU, and PSU combined is already $550, should be less on Black Friday though. I have estimated that I will have about $850 to $900 by Black Friday. So my questions are. 
Are the above parts good enough?
Should I buy the B85 motherboard and get an i7?
Should I get a better motherboard and get an i5?
What benefit does overclocking have on Editing and Rendering videos?
Would I be able to overclock a k processor on the B85 motherboard?

Heavy multitasking? go for a quad core.

 

So a 4690/4690k. go for the k SKU if you want to overclock. However, you will need a Z87/Z97 board for that.

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)

Why are you suggesting Haswell? You could get Devil's Canyon which is newer and at the same price.

Bios update, you would still need one for the G3258 and 4690K because it's Devil's Canyon. Plus he didn't buy that motherboard yet, so the OP could change it to a Z97.
