$800 "Gaming" laptop suggestions

NoobsWeStand

My brother is looking for a laptop that is around $800

For some reason he wants a laptop, and not a desktop. But that is not my choice

My mother was looking at these laptops:

and

She was looking for a more durable laptop, because he went through two laptops already.

He is not looking for touch screen, or what not

He wants to play games on it, such as mine craft and skyrim.

I personally like the one with the 270M graphics more.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks

U530 the larger screen comes in handy when gaming.

But on a completely other note with a budget of $800 i would be looking at the used market you will get more bang for your buck. Might even be able to pickup a razor or alienware unit but i would advise don't buy anything older than a year. Otherwise it will most likely need a new battery.
