Go to solution Solved by Archangel1994,

http://au.pcpartpicker.com/part/gigabyte-video-card-gvr927oc2gd if you can stretch the budget by $34. The R9 270 is a really good card.

If you cannot stretch it at all then the R7 260X or the GTX 750Ti are your options.

I want a new GPU i only have $160 i a have a gtx 630 atm and want an upgrade whats the besti can get for my price in australia

You can pick up an i3-4360 from MSY for $150. Not bad to go with that GTX I reckon.

Can you push it another $50? You can then get an R9 270.

This is why you should not get an FX CPU for ANY scenario other than rendering on a budget http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/286142-fx-8350-r9-290-psu-requirements/?p=3892901 http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/266481-an-issue-with-people-bashing-the-fx-cpus/?p=3620861

All valid points, but keep a good eye out on places like Gumtree or even Ebay or local swapmeats in your area. You might even be able to get something with a bit more performance that is second hand (or new and some ritch kid just doesn't want it orchanged their mind). If you're not in a huge rush to get one and you want to save dollars, that is always a good option.
