Shadow of Mordor - Problem with Controls

So I've been playing Shadow of Mordor, and for some reason I can't seem to do any attack or interaction that invloves holding shift and pressing another button

 

For Example I can't Stealth kill, or Ground Takedown by doing Left Shift + Left Click.

 

Does anyone have any idea why this may be?

No, my copy works perfectly. Pity the game's story line is short.

Its really annoying its like its not registering two buttons being pressed at the same time, even if I'm on a ledge and there's a red outline around an enemy below, I Shift and Left click and I just swing my sword
