Soundcard\converter for Beyerdynamic MMX300

So, i picked up a Beyerdynamic MMX300 headset used on ebay for half the retail price, got it today but cannot test it as there's no usb converter so i have dead-weight for now and need to urgently test it to make sure it's working! As well as that i want to get a good sound quality.

So what would you guys recommend? I live in the uk and would prefer to use amazon for products, can you recommend a sound card or adapter to convert the headphones 6.35 jack?

The Asus Xonar Essence STX II 7.1 PCI-Express 1.0 is looking pretty awesome, surprised Linus has not done a review on this (He did one on the original 2.1)
