There's a "sci-fi epic" Tetris film on the way - I kid you not

The film will be a "science-fiction epic" produced by Threshold chairman Larry Kasanoff and executive produced by The Tetris Company with Threshold's Jimmy Ienner.

"Everyone knows that Tetris is one of the best known, most beloved brands in the world," says Kasanoff. "What everyone doesn't know yet is this epic sci‐fi story that we’re going to tell. That's what's really exciting."

Threshold previously worked on movie adaptations of fighting game Mortal Kombat.

I never thought that they would make a film out of Tetris, but Hollywood is starting to get desperate, so...ya... If you know me at all, you know that I love Tetris. As a matter of fact, I'm really good at it too, but even I find a Tetris movie just plain silly? But you know what? I'm going to see it anyways. Why? because I love tetris and I want to see how they're going to turn Tetris into a "sci-fi epic."

So ya, Tetris film, by the people who made movie adaptations of Mortal Kombat. Thoughts?

How does one make a film on Tetris?

What do they know of England, who only England know?

"Well that's what I always said I wanted to be remembered for, for being honest. Nothing else is worth a damn"

i bet it will be an action movie, Tom Cruise, dodging blocks or something, at the end: love story, why? because Holywood.

Side note: i haven't played Tetris since before the N64 days on that gray handheld device....good times.

I saw something like this in my head.
