Dual Monitor

I was wondering, because I have a second monitor laying around, if I could connect 1 monitor to my graphics card and the other one to my MoBo IO.

They are both VGA and I have no adapter laying around. So I was wondering if it was even possible because I can't figure it out myself

You can't do that, once you have a GPU inserted, it disables on-board video.

yea you can i have 1 vga on my mobo and another hdmi on my gpu

I just hooked them up and went into the screen settings, where you can expand or copy the image.

I got 4 monitors plugged into my gpu and 1 into my mobo

You can enable onboard iGPU in the BIOS.

I have my second monitor plugged into the motherboard. you just have to enable it in bios (for asus its under Advanced tab -> system Agent config -> iGPU multi-monitor, not sure for MSI though)

I can't seem to find anything, could my VGA cable or even my monitor be broken, because it says no signal and thats all

Right click on the desktop, and change the properties. It's hard to explain over text, just dick around in there until you get it right. It's easy to figure out.

if it's connected and it gives no signal then something might be broken yes. Try another VGA cable or something

Well Okay Ill try that then I got a MSI myself but I hope (and think) they are not that different

in the BIOS there will be a setting for something along the lines of iGPU multi monitor. or something like that. you'll have to manually enable the onboard graphics this way, but once they both are active, it will work. keep in mind that what's on your motherboard's output will not be 3d Accelerated by your GPU, so any games should be run on your main monitor.
