Yeap, again the internet. Fast in writing replies but neither watched the Video for knowledge. It's interesting and you can learn something from it.

The reasons of this post is the INTERVIEW, NOT WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT APPLE OR MICROSOFT!

Ugh. At least you're comparing apples to apples (lol). Apple is definitely a software company like microsoft. Even their own hardware is subcontracted out with other people's specs. They just mark it up by seemingly 2x for the software on it, and god forbid you want optional upgrades because then you're paying for the original part you're not getting and the expensive markup on the new part.

 

Basically I'm poor and for me, the Apple software isn't worth the huge markup. Even without it I prefer a more open ecosystem. We're PC builders aren't we? Can't build a mac (excluding Hackintoshes)

The thread name is sarcastic, you only need to watch the video to understand that. But of course that's to difficult. You all fight, keeping the side of Apple or MS or God know who without giving some time into seeing how innovation started, on both sides. The idea is both Apple and MS worked together to bring us what we know as Personal Computers. This is what the thread is about, see the video with Steve Jobs and Bill Gate being on the same set, during an interview. You will see funny and historical moments which lead to what we call today "Our hobby's". Get it?

But nooo, why pay attention on what this is all about, the title says it all. Another Apple vs. MS topic.

True, that's why i love PC's myself. Both should be respected tough, not everyone can build their own PC and not everyone are Modest or Poor as we :) Some have money to spend and Apple will sell them something :D At least they learn to "use" technology.
