Meh, I do say the same thing sometimes about certain things. Like people having wrecks while texting, which is the fault of touch screen phones being popular, which I still don't get because I prefer buttons that I can feel. I could text and drive all day long on my old button phone because I didn't need to look at it.

 

I still think myspace and facebook should be shutdown completely.

Regardless, it's just having nostalgia-rose tinted goggles on. They don't seem to realize that every generation has it's ups and downs, bad people and good people.

i feel the same way man. I bought my pc, xbox, ipod, monitors, desk, ect and then my sister is juat givven ger i pad and expect that she cam just walk into my room amd kick me ogf what ever im doing.

And chores, dont wven get me started with those

i am working pretty hard at that moment and making sure that i keep up at school, i had to buy a new bike yesterday and will have to pay for my vacation soon (not everything, but half).

when she will be at my age she wont have money, i can predict that much. teen girls always never have money (she already has no money) and she will most likely not work either.

so my parents will most likely pay most of the things for her since i am out of house at that point in time anyways.

 

i don't want to complain to much, my situation is very good overall.

but i still think that its not fair. i have a very strong of fairness, so that is why it bothers me.

Dude, half the time young adult (20-30's in my experience) don't have money lol. Also life isn't fair, she's the girl, she will get spoiled because that's how the world works, everything is sexist, but girls don't pay for drinks and get spoiled most of their lives compared to most guys. My sister got a brand new mustang for her 16th birthday, I got a used 1995 3000gt (which I liked better anyways) for my 16th birthday. Did I end up with a better car? I like to think so, but mine cost way less as well.

Meh, financial problems son, IRS took everything because of my dad being an idiot and not paying his taxes, which doesn't make sense because he's always worked for someone else, and as a result his taxes have always been taken out of his paychecks..... I don't get it either, I only know the IRS should burn in hell.

However... your money, your rules, unless your that hopeless with money (week to week) they wanna restrict you further to ensure you learn a life lesson on how to spend it on things you NEED, not want.
