Building a rig for my bae

jbort

Hey,  I have build several 1500+ builds with very high budgets compared to this one.  But I want to build a rig for my gf and I came up with a dirty esitmate from pcpartpicker but I do not know really how much she needs internally.  the budget is ideally 500-600 but has an upper limit of 700.  Anyone able to give feedback is greatly appreciated:

Go with an intel pentium g3258 and asus h81 board ($50) or a z97 board ($120). The advantage of z97 being that it can easily support a broadwell i5/i7 should she need more power. And also go with a gtx750ti or r9 270 if the budget allows.

What's the intended use for the PC you're building?

What games does she play?

Does she use things like Photoshop or After Effects?

go for an R9 270 if you can afford to push it a little ($144,50)

It is a lot more powerfull than even a 750ti
