Hello.

I dont know if this is a stupid quistion but.. the fans on a graphics card and PSU do they push the air or do they pull The air?

 

power supplies pull air in and exhaust out the back of the case (most of the time)

 

and graphics cards usually push air onto the heatsink

They pull the air, when you look at the fans straight on. They push the air out from the sides or back in the case of the PSU. You can tell by looking at the pitch of the blades.

Technically, all fans are pulling the air, but you have to look at what you're cooling. The fans are pushing air onto the GPU/PSU parts, therefore, it's pushing it in.

 

If the fan is behind what it is cooling, for example, it's behind a radiator, that'll be pulling air.
