Best value 1440p monitor

OllieBarrie

I am planning to buy a build with a 1440p display, but I end up having around £400 for peripherals and was wondering what monitors are good for price?

I don't think I'm ready for 4k yet as they are still very expensive.

Thanks

Upcoming build: 4790k OC @ 4.6Ghz, Dual MSI 980 Twin Frozr V, 16 GB Vengeance Pro 2133Mhz RAM, 760T Corsair Case w/ Razer Blackwidow Chroma

But it is the best one out there IMO.

That doesn't make it value...

The 5k dell display being the best out there at $2500 doesnt make it value...

Back to OP, I would wait for the new ASUS PB278QR, an updated version of the pb278q, but if that costs too much I would look into cheap korean ones on ebay.

It is worth the money.

Just because it is 5K doesnt mean it is good.

Value depends on your way of looking. For somebody 780 ti is value, for somebody not,it all depends from your viewing point. ;)
