Nepton 140XL What fan to use?

Kimmaz

Hi I got a few (3) Noctua fans lying around, and I was wondering if its a good idea to swap the stock fans on this radiator. I have em plugged into the cpu_fan thingy on the motherboard using a Y-connector.

Ill provide links to the spesifications on both devices/fan types so you can make a informative guess ^^ there are so many different numbers that I cant make up my mind!

Coolermaster Jetflo fans (click the specs tab) http://www.coolermaster.com/cooling/nepton/nepton-140xl/

Noctua NF-A14 PWM http://www.noctua.at/main.php?show=productview&products_id=65&lng=en&set=1

Bottom line Will it Be quieter/make less noise?

It should.

Don't even know why you're still thinking about this. When you have NF-A14 PWM's lying around. Put one on that bad boy and check for yourself.
