All fine but there´s nothing but that Submit Score button and when I click it the damn thing asks counltess info about my system and I deny to download that Intel software.

Oh ok well that makes it a lot easier. I will submit scores soon but as long as my 5960X is out of the game that´ll be hard. I am finishing up my order now for the new benchmarking machine. Digged out my Corsair 900d already . I really hope my CPU is fine... RMA this would be a hassle.

I think I just found you on HWBot gonna follow you so I know when your back in the game Also to get a little more out of that Strix 980 you have disabling OCP/OVP will help the card.

Sorry man STRIX is not gonna happen that stupid card was with a heavily modded BIOS not willing to go beyond 1600MHz... big disappointment honestly. I mean 1600 is for the average Joe a great result but for an OCer like me a really unfortunate card.

But anyways I just ordered my new hardware, noe I will have to order the watercooling parts. And I´m still worried about my 5960X.

No I took the card out tonight because I need it as display adapter for the new machine. I am done ordering all parts! If the 5960X is still okay (what I think it is) this upcomming week will be amazing. Got all of it from board to water cooling to compression fittings .

 

After that I will sell that STRIX and one of the reference design and keep the other one on the X99 HTPC full watercooled .

Refrence PCB Life

Gotta pull out the 630 as its saying that is the main card for some reason. But these cards have more in them its been around 9 months now. Always running at 1.3v on their annoyingly loud reference coolers. But you bet your ass I have some new scores in the works again.

The CPU being at 4.3GHz is killing the score overall, But I'm already inching past my PB on the fourms and HWBot. Gotta really dig for soft volt modding for it so I can hit 1.35v on them and break that 1400MHz barrier again.

Prepared all stuff yesterday my 900d, the monster radiator, cleaned all no spill connectors and tubing. The only bad thing is the my 5960X is in Jeopardy, but I´ve done research it seems to be software related and heck I´ve got warranty.

Here´s the list what I have bought . Keep in mind the PSU is for the 5930K and the Artic Silver 5 is just a substitute in case I want to try something. The didn´t have the IC Diamond '24Karat' so I had to buy it somewhere else.

Much hype. I think my 4770k is getting closer and closer to its death Going to try and use 1.65v for 4.9GHz for Firestrike today. Loving the 15F weather out side with wind.

Yeah CPU has no more OC room on it with out pushing past 1.8v which I will risk when I get my X99 Upgrade done.

BTW, I talked to Intel guys today and they think the CPU is okay, otherwise I would have gotten a Dead CPU debug. They told me that Asus seems to have issues lately with getting their UEFIs stable for certain boards. They have people calling them all the time with AF codes and so on. I am so much disappointed in Asus.

Phew, thats a huge sign of relief. Asus needs to step their game up with their boards again. They seem to be going down hill since Z87.

Yeah it is, time to shift down 2 gears and go out of my rage mode hehe. Honestly I don´t know what´s going on. I mean people will always cry and bitch that´s normal but Asus´s X99 series are really not that good. Z87 was a good series, but lately they lack of quality. That stuff what happened to me last night convinced me in trying the AS Rock mainboard. Why ask for more issues by buying another Asus. Might have been the last Asus board for a good long while TBH with the Deluxe.

Yeah when Z97 came around I was so close to going screw it and get the Formula VII but I waited around and saw issues start popping up with them which made me stick with my Sabertooth Board. Which by the way has a super sexy backplate on it.
