A 5930K is a nice CPU. Got one in the drawer here for my HTPC built! It OCs up to 4.7GHz stable.

If you can get this for 300USD go for it .

OKAY seriously ASUS can kiss my ass! There´s no way in the world I buy the R5E! After a simple UEFI update my X99Deluxe couldn´t recognize the 5960X anymore. Had to switch to the 5930K to make the damn board work. This is a joke and I will order my new hardware now.

Bro I don´t really know what that was I doubt that the 5960X is damaged it ran with XMP and 127.3BLCK just at 4.2GHz and 1.25V. There´s no way the CPU will die from that when it withstands benchmark stable 4.7GHz. The 5930K runs fine though but until that UEFI update the 5960X ran without issues. I can´t see why this CPU should be damaged.

Just roll back to previous BIOS, the latest isn't always the greatest.

I have done some investigation... good lord how could Asus screw up like that?!? I thought already for a short moment I somehow killed the CPU, but I didn´t. Turns out I got error code AF that means incompatible CPU to the BIOS.

Unfortunately I can´t go back tonight and will have to stay with the 5930K for tonight (which is fine lol, what a luxury to have such a CPU as spare)... I ran out of thermal compound lol . I will order some new right away.

Awesome Antec Formula 7 is just as good too not as thick as IC Diamond, there always Liquid metal but that is some harsh stuff to get off.

Setting up something in HWBot is annyoing. I find this site super shitty in handling.

Yeah once you get everything overall set up its pretty easy to use. Win 8 is only allowed for 3DMark (FS/FSE/FSU/Skydiver) everything else for 3D Benching is Win 7/XP.

That´s the problem until you have everything set up... I do not use and will not install Intel´s shit software to get an XTU profile...

You don't need to use XTU at all XTU is 2D Benching.

To submit a score you need to follow the screen shot guide lines 

 

Like the Firestrike submission and benching rules are here: http://hwbot.org/news/9039_application_52_rules/ 

Once you get the screen shot set up you click the orange submit score button and then scroll down till you find 3DMark and select Firestrike then enter the system info and speeds you were running at the time of the benchmark. It gets easier once you do it a few times.
