Is it possible to mod sleeved extensions to be short PSU cables?

Currently doing a build for my sister in a white Bitfenix Prodigy and wanting to use the leftover white corsair sleeved cables in a Silverstone 600W PSU is it possible to switch the connectors on the wires in order for them to fit and have them work? Has anyone done it before? Otherwise I have a short cable kit and the right tools, but sourcing sleeving in NZ at the moment is impossible, no-one is selling it, and the Lutro store in down due to them moving building. Also could I buy a 24 pin ATX Sleeved Extension and mod it to plug straight into the PSU? It would be just like a short cable kit.

Anyone with experience in experimenting with this?

Regards,

Tim

Not all PSU cable layouts are the same, they differ depending on the brand, sometimes cables are just the same, but not always.

I would take my time and see if the connectors are doing the same thing on both units, one cable that plugs into 12v instead of ground could fry the whole thing.
