Even 5820k will start from 550$+

Nah it'll be just under $400. The 5930k will be that price.

cant wait to get my hands on on the 5820K. waited 6 weeks for this since i first thought of updating my PC! Bring it ON!

BTW, what X99 CPUs u guys getting, and is the 5820K a good choice?

I think it's definitely a good choice and probably what I'm going to get. Between that and the 5930k the biggest differents will be the L3 cache and the PCIe 3.0 lane support. Slightly slower clock rate too... but K series so who cares. The 5820k will only support 28 lanes (so no 3.0 x16 x16 SLI) but in most cases if you are only uses two cards that won't make a difference anyway. 3-4 you might want the 40 lanes the 5930K/5960X offers.

Excited, but I'll wait a few months before taking the plunge.

Need to spread various upgrades over a few months haha

I really am thankful for the ability to afford these luxuries.

I just ordered my 5960x, Rampage V, and Dominator Platinum today. Anyone have any suggestions as to a quality SSD to compliment these parts?
