NZXT H440 OR Corsair 450D

Ziggamasta

Hi there, I've been looking for a new case for a long time now and I've watched/read hundreds of reviews and showcases and I have decided on 1 of 2 cases. The NZXT H440 (white) OR the Corsair obsidian 450D. I like both of these cases and i know i will be getting one of them but I am torn between the two. Can anybody help me in my petty dilemma?

Well, I personally like how the Corsair 450D looks more than the white H440, but that's pretty much personal choice.

When it comes to cooling, the 450D wins, but the H440 is a more quiet-optimized case, as you may know, so, if you would build a rig and try it out in both cases, it would run cooler in the 450D, and it would be quieter in the H440 when you have both side panels on. So there's a thing - if you care more about the cooling get the 450D, and if you care more about the silence get the H440. Also, pick which one looks better to you. The H440 also has no 5.25" bays, so you can't mount optical drives or some fan controllers in the H440.

ive heard the 450d is "iffy" in terms of overall build quality. just the thought of a cheaply built case is enough to bring me away from it although both cases happen to be in my top 10 for looks and all. id have to say h440.

I have the 450D and i have to say, its an amazing case, if you ignore he one glaring fact that the side panel window is easily scratch able and really glossy.  (can do a glass mod)

H440 is better if you want your PC to be quieter

450D is better if you want more airflow in your case (lower temps)
