My first build at fourteen, also looking for tips

Awesome build, but you didn't have to say that you're 14. Building a computer isn't rocket science or engineering! Anyone can do it..

Very elegant and clean build, nice cable management (except for that LINK cable :P).

Try routing that cable behind the motherboard something like this...

I had the cable routed behind the motherboard tray but i removed the cord and never put it back, ill post a new pic tomorrow with the cable tiddyed up. Also i have cables picked out but no money yet so it will be at least two months before i update my pics with new cables, ssd, different fan orientation and a few other things so if u want to see what the build will look like after some revisions you better follow this feed

Hehe kinda funny ur nick and an nvidia intel build but looking shar. As the ppl here say add an ssd and some sleeving in your choice of color and u be all set.

Will do, yah the name was before i built the system and i was going for a low budget build, that all changed and i went to Intel and Nvidia

at 14 I was rocking windows 95/8 on a 2mb video card of which the pc is still intact_nice build I would suggest u get an ssd and maybe sell you gpu and get a better one otherwise the build is quiet balanced

Oh, just figured out something too. My Z77 motherboard had a weird noise to it, after doing some research i figured out it was coil wine under heavy load, is there anyway to reduce this noise, also my wall echos really bad so the slightest noise even though my PC is super quiet is very noticeable

My H100i just bit the dust, so downgraded to the stock cooler untell my RMA follows through, running at max rpm and keeping temps around 43 Celsius at idle

Was thinking about upgrading something in my build. A SSD is for sure, cable sleeving is also a yes but what about a different motherboard and a i7, not Haswell, to much money not a big enough performance gain for a desktop
